Whichever way you decide to rock this trend, rest assured it’s a trend the saints won’t need to repent from….Hallelujah!
GOING NATURAL

All things natural, from linen textures to crochet knits, were a key statement across the Spring Summer 2019 runways. So, it is little wonder that natural fabrications have made their way through to our working wardrobes. Light weight linens and cottons can provide much-needed relief during the after-work commute, but when worn in an array of pastels or rustic stripes provide the perfect backdrop for high summer dressing.

THE LADYLIKE LOOK

The focus on the skirt suit could be attributed to the sell-out Dior exhibition, currently being held at the V&A museum, where the original ‘New Look’ blazer and skirt is on display, or the focus on Mary Quants retrospective that takes us back to a time of boxy jackets and mini skirts. The ladylike look is reminiscent of leisurely lunches and putting on our Sunday Best, but its been brought up-to-date through innovative cuts and playful palettes.
Wear with a glossy top-handle bag, and kitten heel sling-backs to add a retro edge to the look.
