GRACE Magazine - SO Paris Hotel

GRACE Magazine had the pleasure to take a first look (and stay) at the new address to know in Paris – SO Paris Hotel. Opening its doors in time for Paris Fashion Week SS23, the chic location featuring minimalist renovations by architecture firm RDAI, resides in a ’60s-era building right by the Seine in the fourth arrondissement. A perfect base for the stylish traveler, SO/ Paris has 162 sleek rooms and stylish suites spread between floors 7-14. All hotel rooms and suites have striking views over the Paris rooftops, the Seine, and the capital’s landmarks, with bold colours and timeless décor.

Floor-to-ceiling windows show off Paris in its best light, overlooking the rooftops below, the Seine, the Eiffel Tower and beyond (it goes without saying that the higher the floor, the better the view)

If you’re feeling peckish, head to the 15th floor of the building, where the Paris Society group has just taken over Bonnie, the hotel’s restaurant. On the menu, you’ll find oysters, a Niçoise salad, sea bream tartar, and lobster salad with avocado … All accompanied by seasonal cocktails and a selection of good wines. If visiting for breakfast, a top recommendation to try is the detox juice!

If you pop up at Bonnie in the evening, you can enjoy breathtaking views of the Siene at sunset over dinner. Guests also have the opportunity to continue their evening at the club. With its comfy sofas, bubble lamps, chrome tables and backlit glass bar.

Overall, if you’re into fashion, sleek design, comfy beds, friendly staff with uber chic uniforms (designed by Patou’s artistic director Guillaume Henry) S/O Paris is the address to check-in.
